MIXING

• Material should be pre-conditioned to a minimum of 50˚F (10˚C) prior to use. The material temperature must be brought to 5°F above the dew point temperature. Relative humidity should be below 75%.
• Mix component A and B at a ratio of 2:1 by volume. This is accomplished by pre-mixing the A component; then pouring the B component into the short-filled A component; mixing all the while. Mix with a slow speed motor (<400 RPM) and “Jiffy-type” mixer for 1 minute. Pour the fully mixed material onto the substrate immediately after mixing.

APPLICATION

• BLOK may be applied using squeegee and/or 3/8” nap roller.

• BLOK is self-leveling and will flow into low areas where it can build up.

All the major components or compounds used to make BLOK are ISO9000 certified. What are the standards established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to guarantee quality in the production of goods or services.

WARNING: Keep away from sparks, heat, and open flame. Use with adequate ventilation. Prolonged or repeated breathing vapor or spray mist can cause headache, nausea, dizziness or confusion. This product can be harmful if inhaled, swallowed, or absorbed through the skin.

HAZARDS: Avoid breathing vapor, spray mist or contact with the skin. Use only with adequate ventilation during mixing, application and drying. Use face protection, gloves and full protective clothing to prevent contact. Wear appropriate self-contained respiratory equipment when handling. Use only with recommended thinners and cleaners. Keep away from heat, sparks, arc, and open flame.

FIRST AID: In case of contact with skin, flush with water and get immediately medical attention. For eyes, immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and get immediately medical attention. In case of exposure of high concentrations of fumes, remove to fresh air and get immediately medical attention. If swallowed, get immediately medical attention. Do not induce vomiting. PRECAUTIONS: Improper use and handling of this product can be hazardous to health or cause a fire. Consult all Federal Regulations concerning occupational safety and health standards and any other applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations on safety practices in coatings operations. Necessary safety equipment must be used, and proper ventilation requirements carefully observed, especially in confined or enclosed spaces to prevent build-up of vapors.

SPILLAGE: Extinguish all sources of ignition. Use absorbent cleanup materials. Prevent from entering sewers or waterways.

FIRE: Blanket flames with dry chemical, carbon dioxide, or foam. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

STORAGE & DISPOSABLE: Store in cool, well, ventilated area. Keep containers closed and upright when not in use to prevent leakage. Dispose of in separate closed metal container in accordance with all applicable regulations.

CLEAN UP: Clean up the equipment with xylene, alcohol or other environmentally safe solvent. Dispose of waste solvent according to local environmental regulations. CAUTION: These solvents may be flammable. Keep away from all sources of ignition. Clean skin with soap and warm water. Do not use abrasive cleaners which may cause irritation.

The sole remedy available from Trends Design USA, Inc. is the refund of the contract price for the goods for which liability is claimed.

SEVERABILITY: If the above exclusion of warranties provision, or any part thereof, should be held invalid or unenforceable, the limitation of remedies provision shall apply in full force and effect. If anu provision of the limitation of remedies clause should be held or unenforceable, all other provisions in that clause shall nevertheless continue in full force and effect.
